When it's a guest's first time in the space, try to be friendly!

Some things you could do: - give the guest a tour of the space.

 - point out water, bathrooms, your favorite project (don't point / offer booze)
 - show some cool projects some people are working on, make conversation including the guest.
 - include the SCN space

- ask how they heard of the space. this is important for just information-gathering purposes and also gauging if any existing members/guests of the space are familiar with them. - ask if they have a project or what they're working on currently

 - alternatively, is there anything they would like to help out with?
 - or

- ask if they have a laptop or would like to use one?

Of note / keep in mind, this isn't a checklist or a hard rule, just general guidelines and ideas about what could be done to keep the space friendly and welcoming.
