there are several stores in the area selling hardware in a pinch. unfortunately, most of them aren't within walking distance of the space. if you need something quick for a project, here are some ideas for where to go:

RE-PC

two locations: a closer one by stadium station (south of downtown), and a further one in tukwila (by southcenter mall)
sells used tech and surplus, lots of specialized and consumer items, including a fair amount of retro hardware
probably has the cable you need
