These are active space policies.
This page documents accepted practices of the hackerspace. You should follow them and tell others about them. If you would like to make substantial policy changes, please propose them under a separate section marked with |
Minors are folks under 18 years old. They are allowed in the space with a chaperone, who is responsible for them, and should not be unsupervised. Please consider giving them a specific identifying name tag or similar, particularly when there is alcohol in the space.
Minors cannot become members.
Age verification can potentially be accomplished via asking to obtain things that require them to be a certain age to purchase:
- booze (21)
- lottery tickets (18)
- mail ballot (18)
Threat actor: Minor that does not want to disclose that they are a minor.
If you're a minor, please tell us so and we will do our best to include you in the space, there's plenty for you to do and you're welcome here lots of time. Any minor lying about their age will be banned from the space.
