Closing Checklist
Close devhack spaces
- Return items that were on flat spaces (tables, shelves)
- Put trash (especially food) in the main room bins. Please take out the trash in the back alley if it's getting full. See Trash.
- Water the plants
- Turn off the radiator heating by turning the knobs under the heater clockwise
- Turn off the air conditioning
- Close windows
- Turn off the lights via the telegram bot (or press down on the Hub light switch twice)
- Turn off lights in the sun room using light switch
- Lock each of the 4 rooms by pressing the top button and rotating the deadbolt
- You can check the locks by pressing the top button, if it turns blue it is locked
Close Building
- Close windows
- Kitchen
- Meeting/Quiet Room
- Bathrooms
- Lock back doors
- Outer grate door has one deadbolt
- Inner door has deadbolt and a second lock that needs to be turned the opposite direction to lock, check both
- Turn off kitchen and hall lights
- Do a quick walk down the hallway to see if anyone is still in the building (SCN's rooms and commons area).
- if SCN folks are not around, check that their doors are locked too
- Leave via the front, arm the alarm on the way out if you are the last person out.
Front Door
If you're last, arm the building, then open the doors to exit.
Back Door Access
Currently we have no key; you can't be the last out using the back door, and you have to be let in.
SCN
Make sure SCN doors are locked and/or if SCN folks are in their space. /dev/hack should still be cleaned up but if SCN is still around don't arm the systems.
